North Jakarta PMI Distributes Assistance for Flood Disaster in Sukabumi

North Jakarta PMI, Friday (12/6), distributed flood and landslide assistance in Sukabumi, West Java.

North Jakarta PMI Headquarter Head, Nur Hasanudin, admitted his side is not only distributing assistance, but also conducting assessment of disaster condition to analyst other assistances needed.
Health Service Provided for Fire Survivors in Rawa BungaAccording to him, the assistance gathered from the community is collaboration result with PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Tanjung Priok. The disbursement is form of moral support.
"The assistance is part of moral support from North Jakarta residents for Sukabumi," he said.
The assistances distributed were 24 boxes of hygiene plus family kits, 10 school kit packages, 50 pcs of blankets, 10 sheets of tarpaulin, 10 sheets of mattresses and 23 cartons of children's sanitary napkins.
Nur added that his side also deployed eight caretakers and volunteers to do assessment if other assistances are needed.
North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim, stated assistances gathered by North Jakarta PMI for disaster in Sukabumi and Cianjur is part of a calling without being limited by territorial barriers.
"PMI's duties include assisting the government in the social and humanitarian. We need to help our brothers and sisters in Sukabumi who have been affected by the disaster recently," he stated.
